Data Integration       The growth in IT systems/applications in recent years has transformed the workplace.   Transactional systems now handle large volumes of customer sales, banking services and logistics.  Applications have been developed to support financial accounting and reporting, and areas such as management reporting and customer relationship management. Many applications operate independently of each other.  They contain their own specific processes and data definitions, their own business and technical meta data configuration, and their own master data management strategy.  Trying to standardise and synchronise data stored in these applications is one of the most problematic issues for organisations around the globe. Knowlx products are aimed at capturing and standardising knowledge contained within these applications.  Knowlx also partners with a number of ETL and database vendors to build APIs that accelerate the synchronisation of such data.  The problems are great, but with the right tools, methods and expertise, they can be overcome.    .
